Since its foundation in 1991 as the Mid-Atlantic
Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber has been committed to
fostering trade between the United States and Italy by providing a
solid resource for companies in the Delaware Valley region to seek
information and direction in their quest to enhance trade between the
two countries.
The Chamber sponsors numerous trade delegations,
seminars, and acts as a contact point for innumerable persons
interested in such international trade all through self-funding and
support of the local business community. We act to facilitate contact
with government agencies, chambers of commerce and other business trade
organizations and consortia domestically and abroad.
We also provide assistance for students in both the
Philadelphia region and in Italy studying commerce and economics to
find internships in the corresponding countries. In addition, the
Chamber has supported the local community in Philadelphia through
sponsorships and contributions of time, promotional efforts and
financial support.
