Carol Tamburino

Italian – American and South Philadelphia native, Carol Tamburino, defines a true Philadelphian and epitomizes the 21st century Renaissance woman.  Her life embraces the best of the City of Brotherly Love through her business associations, charitable services and civic involvement. Devoted to many causes, Carol began her career with Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company and quickly rose to a management position with a staff of over 180 people, and has been a consultant and a manager in the entertainment industry.

Upon entering the construction field, Carol began working with developers, architects and designers specializing in casino projects – in both Atlantic City and Las VegasHer career with Turner Construction Company has evolved over a twelve-year period, developing major business opportunities and high profile projects such as the Lincoln Financial Center, the National Constitution Center, and Cira Center.

She also works in the international arena while continuing to be involved with the development of schools, airports, hospitals, colleges, universities, and senior citizen housing projects.

She is currently working on a number of new significant projects such as 10 Rittenhouse, a luxury condominium development.  As part of Turner Construction Company, Carol is also involved in the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Program.

A loving mother to her daughter Sabrina, and always a friend to call, Carol brings her own style, energy and enthusiasm to all of her undertakings; she exemplifies the “Heart and Soul of Philadelphia” as evidenced by just a few of her many past and present affiliations:
