Lucia Patalano

Lucia Patalano is a very proud first-generation Italian American and has been active in various Italian organizations, both locally and nationally, to share her love for her heritage and to promote the Italian culture. Her father hails from the beautiful resort island of Ischia on the Amalfi coast, just a short boat ride from the isle of Capri off the coast of Naples. Her mother is from the Molise region. Lucia became a member of the Chamber in 2009 and joined the board in January 2011.

Lucia holds a bachelor of science degree in finance and accounting from La Salle University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Drexel University. She has held various positions as a corporate accountant and financial analyst for large corporations in Philadelphia and South Jersey. She is also a published freelance writer and has written numerous feature articles for various regional and national magazines, newspapers, and trade publications, as well as written book chapters for the best-selling ...For Dummies book series.

Lucia resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She is passionate about Italian music and regularly attends concerts of traditional and contemporary Italian singing artists. Lucia is also an avid shore-goer and enjoys spending free time in Margate, New Jersey.
