Sergio I. Scuteri is a shareholder with the law firm of Capehart & Scatchard, P.A. in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. A practicing attorney for more than sixteen years, Mr. Scuteri represents national and regional lending institutions and other credit issuing entities in the areas of litigation, collection, bankruptcy, work outs and foreclosure. Mr. Scuteri also serves as assistant general counsel to a national manufacturing company where he advises on issues from business policy development to construction litigation; and represents other clients in the area of construction litigation.  He is admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey.  In 2008, 2009 and 2010, Mr. Scuteri was awarded the peer-reviewed honor of Top Attorney by SJ Magazine and South Jersey Magazine.

Mr. Scuteri is a past President of the Rutgers University Camden Alumni Association, where he oversaw its Board of Trustees representing more than 28,500 graduates from Rutgers University's Camden campus; and is also a past Secretary of the Rutgers Alumni Federation.  He is a member of the Camden County Bar Association, serving on the Association's Committee on Aging and the Debtor-Creditor Committee; and is also an active member of the Evesham Republican Club.

Mr. Scuteri graduated magna cum laude from the Rutgers University School of Business at Camden with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Management and Marketing. He then earned a Juris Doctorate from the Temple University School of Law.

Mr. Scuteri resides in Marlton, New Jersey with his wife, Patrice, and their children, Olivia and Stephen. He is fluent in Italian.
